Maximilian von Hoyningen

Max is the founder of Ecolibrio. He began his career in strategy consulting before co-founding a machine learning startup at the University of Lüneburg. In 2020, he joined WWF's corporate engagement team, which he left as Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Consulting in 2025. For Max, economy and ecology are completely linked to each other - and AI harnessing vast datasets can actually bring those links to light. That belief became the foundation for Ecolibrio, which helps companies align their sustainable investments with their nature dependencies, driving measurable impact on conservation while delivering real top- and bottom-line results. Max holds an MBA from IE Business School Madrid.
